In this Review I will make a rundown of the Wealthy Affiliate online training platform, why I find it so awesome, and in my opinion, why it rivals all others.
Product Overview
Wealthy Affiliate is an online business training platform designed to provide all the tools, training classrooms & modules and support anyone aspiring to build a business would ever need. The platform’s environment is clean, friendly and very helpful. All members are encouraged to help one another thus making the community so unique as it is today. A screenshot of the Wealthy Affiliate Platform is shown to the right.
If you are willing to learn and can bring your own desire to keep at it, Wealthy Affiliate is for you!
Pros & Cons
As I personally see Wealthy Affiliate, I will provide some pros & cons.
Pros:
- Regular updates and new services added. Existing services constantly improved.
- Owners actively helping all members. You don’t get this in other programs.
- Weekly Live Class with highly successful host, two major courses, vast tutorials.
- Highly developed Classroom system, which is a categorized approach to finding the tutorials and blogs that match a topic you’re looking for.
- On-board search engine to help you find resources you are looking for. You can also use it to find members you’re looking for
- Quick access to the community when you get stuck and have questions that need quick answers! Usually within five minutes, someone has responded.
- Well-formed social networking platform intended for discussion about online business and WA experience. The platform includes a chat engine as well.
- There are no upsells of any kind. It’s all there upon subscribing.
- Yearly rate still represents 2005 pricing as it was then at its monthly rate of $29/mo.
- WA offers a Starter Membership that exceeds the value of many paid programs. Seeing is believing!
- Free Website Hosting offered at WA to all members, Starter or Premium. You also get on-board domain search and domain registration services!
- Writing Tool for composing articles, Site Health, (indicates where your website needs work,) Comment & Content Tools, Site Management, Free SSL, etc.
- Free websites (2 for Starter Members, 50 for Premium) No compulsory adverts pre-loaded! You control every aspect of what goes on your websites
- The learning environment is family-friendly. No coarse language or explicit stuff here! This type of behaviour is not tolerated.
- Joining very easy and forthcoming. No pressure to join Premium. Stay a Starter Member as long as you like, though some functionality lasts 7 days.
- The interface is very easy to follow, not cluttered, and is very well organized
Cons:
- The updated platform lacks the planner/goal-setting application I liked in the old format.
- The ranking system (indicates community involvement) can, and does get misused. Some unscrupulous members “game” this system, but this takes work.
- The blogging platform is supposed to be used for business-related content – not always done. Get the most out of WA by posting on-topic content.
- WA is so large, it is sometimes easy for new members to get lost. If this happens to you, just stop and ask. Someone will gladly show you the way.
Who Is It For?
Wealthy Affiliate is essentially for anyone who desires to learn how to build and maintain an online business. It’s for the novice, intermediate & seasoned alike. Since there are so many reasons to join Wealthy Affiliate, there’s no way I could list them all. However just to give you an idea who uses this Platform:
- People who hate their jobs/employment
- People who like their jobs/employment
- Retired folks
- Folks on redundancy/disability
- Folks who own their own business(es)
- Folks who desire to work at home
- Home-makers/mothers, fathers taking care of family
- People needing supplemental income
- Professionals (lawyers, doctors, engineers, etc)
- Students in colleges & universities
- Government workers
- Business managers
- High school students (who are of legal age)
- Online marketers
- Local businesses
- Folks from anywhere in the world, preferably English, and permitted by law
Who It Is NOT For
If you are, or do any of the following, you will most likely waste your time in this community, alas, these things are discouraged and even outright forbidden inside. For those who resort to doing the following things, this list is for you.
I have included the basic four “nasties” that you should avoid when joining up with Wealthy Affiliate. It is my sincere hopes that you don’t find yourself in these categories. They are:
- Laggers If you come into the community and don’t put in any effort, Wealthy Affiliate won’t do you any good. The purpose of the community and the training resources in here are for your learning and benefit. A few folks come in here from time-to-time, looking for that magic button or silver bullet. There’s no such thing. Come in to have fun, but to be ready for some hard work. It’s the only way you will succeed. Sadly, many folks come join and then never do the Courses, lessons nor start any campaigns.
- Gamers A few folks resort to “gaming the system.” WA has an onboard ranking system in place and its affiliate program as well. Some folks have figured out how to game these systems, albeit these issues have been resolved. If you wish to come in and do these things, it won’t work because there are a LOT of members in here with eyes of a hawk, who love this membership! Gaming the system will get you banned from Wealthy Affiliate real quick. Worse than this, you probably won’t be putting the emphasis where it really needs to be – building out your business.
- Black Hat Marketing Short and sweet – Unethical marketing strategies are not found nor are taught at Wealthy Affiliate. It is strictly prohibited. Everything you compose must be original and no affiliate links are to be placed anywhere in the discussion areas. Wealthy Affiliate is all about what works and is clean, honest, ethical marketing! When members are found doing this, depending on the severity, it results in some coaching, and if that doesn’t work, are shown the door.
- Solicitation Once in a while, a new person comes in and immediately puts up advertising, affiliate links, soliciting to members. Some of these even violate the interests of the Program. Wealthy Affiliate is a place to learn how to market on the Internet, albeit, not a place to sell to members. It may cause you to lose your posting privilege if, after being coached, you continue to do it. Do not solicit affiliate links nor any other propositions involving the selling to other members on the plaform. This is inappropriate.
Training & Module Overview
Wealthy Affiliate uses the following methods of training delivery. They come in textual and video media. These modules are often interlinked with each other as needed for emphasis and enhancement.
The Entrepreneur Certification Training
Lesson 3 covers niches, what they are, finding the right one and implementing it.
This is where everybody starts when they come into Wealthy Affiliate. This is Level 1 and it covers the overview of the Program and guides members through the creation of the core of their websites. Starter members can easily get a business up and running with the resources here. You two free websites, free hosting and limited usage of the tools available. There’s lots here and is designed for the entrepreneur in mind.
Make Your First $50 Online!
This short Course has the newcomer in mind. This will help get his/her feet wet and shows all the nuts and bolts to pulling an income from proven methods of online marketing and business practices. This Course is often referred to by members and from other Training Modules and Courses.
WA Boot Camp
The Wealthy Affiliate Boot Camp Course is designed to give members a structured approach to building a themed authority website for the use of Wealthy Affiliate’s Affiliate Program. The site you are now on has been built completely from the Boot Camp training. In this task-oriented Course, you will create a Wealthy Affiliate campaign – an invaluable educational resource which offers an opportunity to integrate with WA’s Super Affiliate Program. The acquired knowledge from this Course empowers you to be able to create an authority website in any niche you want!
WA Classrooms
There were are so many modules available, it became necessary to group these up in to various “classroom” settings. Each classroom comes with a discussion area, much like a forum, tutorials, videos and courses. Only the best resources are included in each Classroom. All members are encouraged to bring their questions to the Classrooms for more indepth discussion. When the Classrooms were developed, this greatly simplified the way folks in the Membership access the training materials.
Video Training (Weekly Webinars)
A couple examples of selections featured in the huge list of Live Training Webinars
Hosted by Jay (Magistudios,) this is a weekly, over-the-shoulder video presentation held live every Friday evening. In these presentations, Jay outlines the week’s chosen topic, be it search engine strategies, basic campaign construction, or simply instruction on how to use Wealthy Affiliate resources! Due to sheer interest, these interactive webinars usually run over allotted time and are customarily followed by members conducting related Google Hang-outs.
Other Training Options
Finally, other helpful resources include hosting, free websites (Site Rubix,) Rapid Writer (online article builder,) Wealthy Affiliate’s search tool, just to mention a few! The entrepreneur mindset is often discussed throughout the training.
Support
Yet another thing that sets Wealthy Affiliate apart from other training programs is that the founders NEVER hide behind the team and staff working in the background. Since Day One, both Kyle & Carson have been right out there with the members. You will not find time-consuming ticket-based help-desk support in Wealthy Affiliate. It’s one of the training platform’s notable uniqueness.
That’s dedication and absolute care for the members and is extremely rare to find in other membership-based training programs! Your personal and business successes are extremely important and each person is served, one person at a time, yet in a timely fashion. You have first-hand support by none others – the founding members, highly successful members and those who are learning still. Support is encouraged between members and questions asked normally get answered immediately under most circumstances.
Support can be had via the Live Chat, through the blogs found in each member’s profile area, in the training modules and in the Classrooms! Wherever there are people, there’s support!
What to Expect at Wealthy Affiliate
Upon arrival, new members often ask, “What do I do?” “How do I make money with WA?” Wealthy Affiliate is strictly an online business training platform. This is NOT a “business-in-a-box” scheme so typical of many other “training” programs. Important! Instead, You will create an online campaign going through the Entrepreneur Certification Course, the Boot Camp and Classrooms. There are also weekly Live Webinars hosted by a renowned Internet marketing consultant.
You don’t get cookie-cutter company-themed, websites with your name on them, that are built for you and come pre-populated with ads you can’t remove geared to bring in new recruits. These often come with core training on how to promote a small selection of up-sell-infested company-tailored products. Often the training is limited to these products and enough instruction on basic marketing to get the job done. Empower Network is a prime example of this and is not recommended.
Other than campaigns with topics such as adult entertainment, any type of illegal activities, anything defamatory or unhealthy, hate or derogatory, you are free to build campaigns for anything you like, even those that that promote WA competitors. Your websites and campaigns are NOT exclusive to WA. You discuss and promote what you want on them.
Wealthy Affiliate is not a multi-level marketing-based business. You will not be required to bother family & friends with such solicitation.
To achieve anything, you are required to work. That this work can be quite hard is an understatement. As with any business venture, you should take this seriously and be ready to give it your all for the best results.
Wealthy Affiliate is not primarily a place you make money with. You learn how to build an online business that suits you and it’s these campaigns you make money with. Wealthy Affiliate provides the tools and support. You provide your own talents and creativity in how you build your business.
However, Wealthy Affiliate does have an affiliate program which serves two purposes.
- You can make money with WA in this way by participating in the affiliate program.
- You will get valuable hands-on experience building a WA campaign, using concepts that you can use over and over again in other campaigns!
Pricing
Starter Membership This is the try-before-you buy level. It is one of two possible levels here at Wealthy Affiliate. There is no cost to join at this level, so nothing to lose! You have everything to gain at this level starting out because it’s literally far more powerful than you get in just about any other PAID program out there! This is due to the constant evolution the Platform has been through!
However, the Starter Membership is intended to be the showcase of the Wealthy Affiliate Program and Platform. It has been demonstrated that one could stay on this and eventually make money. However after seven days, some functionality ends, most notably write privileges and community interaction. You would still be able to view countless tutorials and blogs, but you would not be able to interact with them. You would still have your two websites, freely hosted, but you would not be able to host purchased domains. Other functionality is also effected as well.
If, for some reason, you don’t think Wealthy Affiliate is for you, simply stop using it. There is no need to cancel because you are not charged anything, however, some folks request this and it is granted.
Wealthy Affiliate is known for its “Open Education Project (OEP)” Look at it as you would an Open House where you go to view houses with the possible intent to purchase.
Premium This comes in two flavours:
- Monthly Subscription: $47. First month discounted to $19 for those who join the Premium Membership within 7 days of joining the Starter Membership!
- Yearly Subscription: $359. Equates to a savings of $205 knocked off the total yearly balance otherwise done by monthly payments! Averages out to $29/month, which is the original 2005 pricing!
Overview At A Glance & Bonuses!
Owners: Kyle & Carson, Founders
Price: Starter: $0; Premium: $47/mo; $359/yr
Website: http://wealthyaffiliate.com
Rating: Has a 4.8% rating, but I personally give it a full five stars!
My Verdict:
Highly-recommended!
How to Claim Your Bonuses:
If you like what you see and decide to join as a PREMIUM Member, you will receive the following bonuses IF you join within 7 Days of your initial sign-up date.
- $59% Discount on Your First Month (Your First Month for $19!)

- Access to My Tutorial, “How to Be Successful!”
This is not automatic and I may forget! If I do, just ask and I will get it to you. 🙂
This is my way of providing incentive for the action takers out there! You MUST sign up as a Premium Member within 7 Days. More information upon sign-up. Remember that there are NO strings attached with your Free Membership, so I encourage you to join the Starter Membership. You seem to have covered everything including some things I hadn’t thought of. Thanks for a complete review
Absolutely welcome! That’s the great thing about individuality. It also gives folks ideas on new content to see others’ content and reviews
Thank you John!
Yeah, I tend to write pillar articles, albeit, those who are really interested in what I have here will go through them. Yeah, they are complete. I’m trying to say things with fewer words, and I’m learning little by little.
Daniel
Yes, Yes, Yes. I don’t think I’ve read an article and nodded my head in agreement so many times.
Very nice summary of Wealthy Affiliate.
Were you there from the beginning then? When did you join?
I joined on January 1, 2010. I thought I knew about online marketing until I came here.
I was so far off it wasn’t funny! I’m getting it together little by little. There is so much to learn at WA that there is little excuse why anyone can’t be successful at this.
Thanks for your kind post Dom 🙂
No. Albeit, Kyle started the Forum in 2005, a day after my birthday. It wouldn’t be until four years later when I would run into WA. Another year later, I found Marcus and this is how I came in. I have not turned and looked back since, except to write about former experiences.
Great review Daniel.
Having been a member almost as long as you, I concur with absolutely everything that you have said here.
When I started there was no Starter membership. I had to take on faith that this was a great learning community. With the advent of the FREE starter membership, there is no reason not to take advantage of this fantastic learning experience.
I’m here for the long run, I have even paid up through the end of 2014. I have absolute confidence that this training environment will provide me with a full time income with the freedom to choose my own hours and not have to kowtow to a boss or worry about loosing my income through downsizing.
I’m definitely in here for the long haul as well! What I love about WA is that it has always been on the forefront of the industry and is now the leader!
I recommend WA to anyone who wants to take their existing businesses to the next level and stay there!
I’ve done a LOT of research on other training platforms simply to see how they are coming along and none, not even one, comes close to what WA offers in a community setting, tools, support and services, not to mention the training within.
Thanks for the kind comment 🙂
Outstanding review. I really like the way you could find all the history about WA. That in itself speaks tons about the amount of work that went in to writing such a great review. KUDOS
All of WA’s history is found in the Forum. Yes, I’ve searched quite thoroughly there.
Thanks for the kind comment 🙂
Believe me, I don’t do stuff like this if I’m not fond of something, however, as I turn out more reviews, I will be doing this with even the ones I find bad. It helps folks see where this kind of stuff comes from and allows them to pick out bad ones from the get go. I’m here to educate. I’ve had some very fine teachers and I choose these carefully. WA is, in my opinion, the very best place on the Internet, even though there are some high quality programs out there!
Hey Daniel
I enjoyed reading your WA review I even learnt smoething new.
I didn’t know WA started as keyword list page.
Very good review, keep up the good work 🙂
Gil
Yes sir, Gil
WA, even when it started out was above and beyond anything out there. At its inception, all it had to do was catch on … and it did! What I enjoy about reading the old threads in the Forum on WA is that Kyle and Carson have not changed a mite in the way they deliver. It’s what made WA great and unique in the sea of this industry. They knew they would redefine the industry and this they did with flying colors!
My hat is always off to them and the WA community!
That is one of the best reviews of Wealthy Affiliate that I have read. And I read quite a few before joining up with the best Internet Marketing Learning Platform out there.
Loved how you laid it all out, especially who would benefit from WA and who would not. Great job, my friend.
Yes Pat,
Unfortunately Wealthy Affiliate does get people in there that are looking for a quick fix to their finances without putting in the work. Most of these either shape up or ship out. Folks throughout WA always encourage new folks who come in with this attitude that this isn’t how it works. Some work this into their lives and become great members and others just move on.
Your review is so true. I joined Wealthy Affiliate a year ago. Didn’t even know there was such a world as internet marketing nor was I computer savvy. I’ve been able to build a website and have turned a hobby into a real business. I’m so appreciative to WA and the WA community for all I’ve been taught in the past year. Much more to come.
On the contrary Lisa, I was into Internet marketing for a number of years before joining WA. The problem was, I was being bombarded with 101 ways to do this, some good, some bad some on target, others so dated it would knock you silly.
When I first joined would you believe I didn’t know what keywords were? It’s the truth. Yes, I’ve hear of these, but I was shocked about how these really work, and when I saw the numbers for the first time.
WA has come a long, long way since! You are very fortunate, as are many who are in there now, and joining now. I am very happy for folks like you who discover WA!
Great job, Daniel. Very well thought out and executed. if I wasn’t already a member of WA I would have signed up. You really have a way with words. I wish you great success.
Thanks. I had a person very versed in English grammar find one of my WA training and I got a LOT of red marks on it. However, I went through and fixed all the errors and it’s much better 🙂
I may be able to write but I do make grammatical errors LOL
“There is so much to learn at WA that there is little excuse why anyone can’t be successful at this.”
That is exactly what I would be concerned about in joining WA. I’ve test drove a few other IM training programs and all they do is throw you into a sea of information with no real strategy for understanding what is the first step. I am a member of NAMS and that is the main problem there also, lots, I mean tons of affiliate marketers selling their stuff and lots of mostly outdated and overrated material. I bought a lifetime membership so I’m not out any more money monthly. That’s good for me.
So you said ask questions, If I join even the starter program will I see a structured approach to affiliate marketing? Would I be able to get off the ground and learn how to earn a $100.00 in a month or two?
As is true with any place you go to learn, when you make money is definitely dependent on you. It’s not inconceivable to make the money you have indicated in your question in that time period, but it’s rare anywhere.
The great thing about Wealthy Affiliate’s courses is that it is structured. It is highly recommended that folks who come into WA go there because trying to mull around in all the training not associated with the course can and does bring about confusion. The WA course helps the beginner get the core website up and explains everything along the way. For the Premium, these courses continue on into more advanced topics in setting up that campaign. There are tasks in each accompanied with both text and video.
WA doesn’t throw folks into a sea of information. The support is awesome and it’s this alone, why I see little excuse. Those that don’t get anywhere are the same that don’t do the lessons, dabble along with the social aspect on there, which is actually designed there for training purposes – and they don’t seek help, which is abundant on there. Even the owners of WA jump in and help members daily. They answer emails and get right in the Chat where discussions are always occurring. There are classroom settings that have associated lessons for different aspects along the way, such as “Everything WordPress.” In these classrooms, dedicated discussions take place. They are meant ONLY for the topics they cover and the members respect this. The Classrooms, BootCamp and Entrepreneur Certification Courses are all successful.
Nowhere else have I been able to make money, even with the short-comings I personally have from a very bad childhood. I now make a consistent income, though it’s not quite enough yet to totally support myself alone on it. It’s getting there.
Hey Daniel. This is a very insightful review of WA. I am a member at WA and I feel it’s a great place to get your online business started, learned a lot and achieved a lot too.
I’m a lifer here! I’ve never seen anything come close to Wealthy Affiliate from all the time I’ve been online trying to do the online marketing thing! It’s an awesome place isn’t it? 🙂
Great review, but I was wondering are you working for them as an affiliate or something, just because you don’t seem to be recommending any other program’s. So is this the only program out there you recommend? If so, why not?
I have a couple others on there that I find are excellent programs. Wealthy Affiliate is, by far, the best, most complete program out there for learning affiliate marketing. I will be stepping up the beat and though WA is my top choice, when I find acceptable programs, that is,
not spammy
definitely not a scam
has value
has excellent customer service
does not resort to hype and dream-selling
has excellent customer reviews
I will be adding more stuff on there and will be looking for more programs. I will be checking out Bring the Fresh, Affiliorama, and some others I suspect would turn out a good report. The objective I have here is to use what I know about marketing and advertising to red flag anything that doesn’t look good.
Whereever I don’t have the info in these preliminaries will be left blank. Often, just know where a program comes from and how it does its advertising and promotion contains dead giveaways about the product itself.
But yes, you are right. More to choose from. Sadly most programs don’t deliver. I’m not quite up to it yet, but there’s a number of programs I’d like to join and have not written about them because I wouldn’t be able to give accurate reviews unless I do so. Anything like this would get more than one write-up.
As for your first question, Yes, I am an affiliate of Wealthy Affiliate as I am a number of others on here. I will only be an affiliate to programs that have top value and where quality is the top of the list. If they’re bad, I won’t even provide a live link to them, though you could always copy and paste the website always provided and go to the program that way. I won’t collect revenue from stuff I find is bad news.
This is a funnel for Wealthy Affiliate and that’s why all roads seem to lead there in this website, Albeit there are others out there that will give you your money’s worth.
The reason I have WA at the top is because to this point in time, I’ve not yet found anything else that beats it. I believe WA’s one big success point is its philosophy of “paying it forward.” This is hard to find, and you won’t find but a handful of programs with owners right in there with the members. Kyle & Carson were attending college and struggling when they met and together cracked the code for themselves. At the time, there was very little in the way of affiliate marketing training that had any lick of value to it, and to lay it all out on the table (like most don’t) is what put them on the top. For folks who are familiar with WA, there’s no turning back. Wealthy Affiliate is simply that good.
Hi Daniel,
Fantastic review!
Wealthy Affiliate is indeed every bit as GOOD as you have stated…even BETTER!
I am a WA Premium member and I am definitely there to stay. Anyone reading this review and pausing to think about it – ‘Just Do It!’ – you will be so happy you did. After all, you can join for free and be guided, with extreme efficiency and support, to having your very own website up and running within a very short period of time.
Thanks again Daniel…Good Job!
Blessings Be,
Rich Far
I am a LIFER myself with WA. I have never seen anything like it in all the years I’ve been doing Internet marketing. Foolproof Cash Flow is good, there’s no question about it, and if it didn’t have the particular teachings about SEO, this would be top-notch as a small course. The modules are every bit as detailed as any of the same on WA, and is why I provided links for it. For me, that’s a rare thing. It’s been a long time since I’ve been able to actually present affiliate links to any of my reviews.
You would not believe the awful programs I’ve reviewed before FCF. It’s actually nice to be able to write a positive review about a product.
I really appreciate your comments Rich 🙂 I will be looking to have a visit to your site…
how to transfer site revenue n withdrawals
please answer my question
I’m sorry, I’ve been away for a few days. I’m not quite sure how to answer the question. Please be more specific. Thanks!
Nice review of wa here! As a fellow member too I would like to testify that what he has shared is true. [Comment edited by admin to remove self promotional content.]
Best,
Tony
Thanks Tony! Glad to see that WA is working for you as well.
Daniel
Hello! Thiss is kind of ooff tpic but I neeed some
guidance from an established blog. Is it very difficult to set
up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty quick.
I’m thinking about setting up my own but I’m not sure
where to begin. Do yoou have any ideas orr suggestions? Many thanks
Your website address is clickable inside the email notification I get for moderation. I can’t read the script, but I can see that you indeed have a well-established blog yourself. The inclusion of your link in the comment details box tells me that you are probably after link juice rather than information on how to build a blog.
I’m going to allow this post because I suspect you’re a human and not a bot. (I’ve effectively stopped most of the the robots.) but just so you know, I have re-engineered the coding in the comments I receive so your website link will not appear once published. Sorry. I’m dead serious about comment spam and though your comment does address a legitimate question though your intent is unclear, and it gives me the opportunity to discourage others from trying to spam my comments areas.
Thanks for your inquiry
Daniel
I went through some spam and found your “name” on many of them. Shame on you!
Hi Daniel,
I’m new to this stuff. Can you explain a bit more what gamers and black hat marketing is?
Certainly Peter,
Thank you for commenting and your question 🙂
Gaming the system means unethically trying to take advantage of a system. In ranking on Google, in the search engines, for example, which in itself means, getting your website to rank in the top positions of the search results, some people resort to “cheating” the system to get it there, which might be stuffing keywords, going around and getting their friends to favourably respond to a page or post in social media, such as Facebook (the “likes”) and so forth. It’s the same thing as saying, “cheating the system.”
Black hat marketing is the whole ball of wax of using unethical marketing practices to seduce people into purchasing whatever is being offered. This is customer seduction. Some of this is so subtle it can go undetected. There is a LOT of this type of stuff going on these days, and actually throughout most of the life of the modern Internet, in e-commerce. People who cheat the system use black-hat marketing methods to get what they want.
This is all the opposite of marketing and dealing on the Internet in an ethical, honest and wholesome way. It is done for the sheer purpose of making money with no cares whatsoever for those purchasing. I have a number of reviews on this site where I have gone after those that have resorted to black hat marketing. The seduction isn’t so much in the product itself, but in the advertising. These folks use logical fallacies (errors in reasoning) that are known to work well in getting what they want. Using the appeal to authority or appeal to emotion especially, by themselves and not to support any rational claim in their advertising are fallacies, but they work and then ensnare sometimes thousands of people at a time! The ploys they use are powerful and not many people are aware of such ploys and fall victim in their traps.
I hope I was able to answer your question about gaming (cheating) the system and black-hat marketing.
Daniel
Daniel,
I just came across YOUR website by selecting the choice(s) shown by google, about a particular Affilite? site. Screw that one!, and thank you for your review about it. BUT… there is another one that looks legitimate. It’s http://www.johnchow.com/. I haven’t totally investigated him/it, but it looks by far VERY professional and positive to the ‘nth’ degree. He looks to be very professional and honest in his presentations (videos) and shows what his daily life is like with family and business.
If you would please, would you have a ‘look-see’ at it and provide your input? I’m very CURIOUS….. as you would expect!
I have signed up with WA a long time ago & revisited the site a couple of months ago BUT have not proceeded to get involved due to weak (and I mean WEAK) finances. I can’t afford the $19 or the monthly $47!!, even though I’ve been assured not only by you but many others as well.
I’ve never made a dime online, don’t have a website, nor am I a ‘member’ of any affiliate marketing business(es) for fear of being ‘played’/scammed.
I’ve watched the internet for over 10 years and have seen the transition(s) of IM. So much has happened in that time.
Thank you for you response and input,
Sincerely,
David A. Watkins
Hi David,
Hey, I’m sorry I have not gotten back with you. I have been going through some transitions over the last several months and have not been active on here.
Thank you for your input on WA and I feel for you about the rampart scam in the money-making online niche that you express. It really damages the reputation for any company that operates with integrity and honesty. They’re out there but they’re like trying to find a needle in a pile of hay.
I have been a member at Wealthy Affiliate now for almost six years. Due to my disabilities, it took me longer than most to make money with WA using their instructions, but have been consistently making money now for almost four years. I have reason to believe, that if I had not been out of the online world for so long, I would be making a full-time income now, but I’m back at it again and marking time.
My question about your response to my review: Have you tried WA’s program? It is free to join as you probably know, but the free account is meant as a showcase, though it offers more value than most any other paid program out there. You get two websites YOU build and maintain with free hosting for the two. You also get enough information in the free starter membership to build the core of both sites. You can also access all kinds of resources that will help you go beyond. If you are adamant enough, you CAN build a business with the free membership, though the premium is by far, superior.
Sadly, financing is the thing stopping you. Wealthy Affiliate provides top-notch training that you will find hard, if not impossible to beat anywhere. This kind of education is not free, but through Wealthy Affiliate, is far more affordable than many inferior programs out there.
One of the reasons you are not making a dime is because you are not getting the proper training.
Thank you for the lead about JohnChow. I will definitely look into that and produce a review for it. It might take me a little time to do the research, but I will put this out for you, so keep posted. When I do create the review, I will come back here and notify you at the email address you’ve submitted.
Thanks again for the input!
Daniel
