Join Empower Network! – Or Should You?

en-logo

There are banners and adverts everywhere crying out, “Join Empower Network!” Should you or shouldn’t you? Think twice before you do. You’ll be glad you did!

Please check out my review by clicking the link near the bottom of the page.

Sadly, very sadly, I discovered that one of the authors whom I had a lot of respect for is now on Empower Network, pushing this horrendous scheme onto his lists! How awful! I won’t even mention his name to protect his reputation in other far more ethical entities he either has or is involved in. It is so utterly sad that he’s joined up with it.

I never thought I’d see this fellow join such a scumbag thing!

My heart dropped when I got an email that I’ve had for some time and just now read it. I’ve learned a LOT about the wiles of employment and being around “poisonous” people and how to break off from these.

This person is doing very well with it because he already has a very large following and massive lists. This can’t be said of most people who join EN because only the heavy hitters are the ones making money with EN – and doing so using very unethical means!

I once had the idea of joining up but just the sight of the adverts they use really turned me off. Then my suspicions were validated when I looked into what other people have said about this rubbish! I also looked into what people who are successful in it have to say about it, and though positive, these people also resort to unethical marketing to entrap others unawares into this program!

If you have it in your mind to join Empower Network, I implore you to look into this very deeply first, if not from the resources I provide below, to simply do a search and research this thoroughly before you make a move.

If you want to learn how to engage in an online business of your own, and know the value of doing so ethically and aesthetically, heed my warning! Look at my review. It will save you a lot of headache, disappointment and disillusionment. Save yourself the backlash you will get if you don’t “go all in.” It’s deplorable!

You can have a look at the many complaints found everywhere on the Internet, but I’m going to give you a handful of complaints from members in the online business community which I too, am a proud member of. Here you will learn how to market on the Internet using honest, true and ethical means that create success stories! The complaints are all within the blogging areas of the members here and to see them you will need to sign up for a free account. Whilst you are there, take a look around and compare with what you get with Empower Network. See for yourself, but if you do anything at all on there, even if you DON’T look around, do yourself a favour and read the accounts I provide for you below. By all means, check out my Review on Empower Network and if you find what I say to be true, I would like to hear from you in the comments area! Check out what’s in the Review and dig in yourself, just for your own sake.

The complaints are in the box below this article…

An unwary member blogs about the awesome shiny thing he has found. It’s a very short statement of about three lines. Pay attention to the discussion below his statements.

Rick is a fellow member at WA. He actually joined Empower Network and found out real quick what this place was all about. He got hounded very badly by other members on there when he backed out of it.

A very interesting article with a Wild Wild West attack likened to Empower Network. It’s a great analogy to this scum!

https://danieleuergetes.com/wealthyaffiliate/empower-network-complaints-are-on-the-rise_by_rick-jantz

Rick (as above) points out Google Trends on Empower Network and throughout this year, there has been a sharp increase in complaints about this formidable business opportunity.

I hope you’ve been convinced not to join Empower Network!

Please be sure to read the discussion below each of these articles. They add substance to what I am saying. Please DON’T join Empower Network if you wish to go about online business ethically and avoid an awful scam at that!

You got that right my friend 🙂

In that it is open for all, you can’t beat it. Like the House of the Rising Sun, you can check in but you can never leave. Not without being shamed, being labelled a “Wussie,” amongst other really awful things I’ve seen in discussions with people not going all in or leaving the membership there. It’s great for sheeple. Great for the poor who can’t pay for the monthly fees for EN’s “free” account but don’t mind being called ugly names because they can’t “go all in.” …nor can they do anything with their free accounts because further action is required to get anywhere on there… action that requires out-of-pocket expense.

So, it’s entirely free then? I’ve not seen any substance to EN’s “free” account. What’s this $25/month fee for blogs that don’t even belong to the members and are cookie-cutter deals that you can’t edit save editing the blogging area? …and the eWallet that comes with a fee of $19.99/month that is required else the free account is nothing but a lump of coal? At least there are places that do offer REAL value in their free memberships such as this one.

Well the poor will end up being wussys since they cant go all in now, so its not really open to the poor unless they can endure the shame for not being able to do so. And in the end, they get branded, “wussies.” Should I say, “sheeplewussies?” What I love is that there ARE memberships where the poor can really get in and make real changes in their lives and economy … and where you never get shamed because you decide “going all in” isn’t what you are up to …or can do… at the moment. …where you DO own the blog(s) you get and have full control over what goes on every part of it, not just the content area.

Call me a Wussie if you like, but I stick to my guns. The place is appalling. It’s unethical. It’s a trap (not to mention a Ponzi scheme) and a hot air sandwich for many who don’t have huge lists to start with. I’ve seen too many of my friends and people I know get tangled up in this place and lose a LOT of money, time and effort and then get called names!!! I’m glad I didn’t get caught up in it myself before I began seeing the ruckus.

Mark my words that the membership I’m proud to be a part of, which offers REAL value to its starting members without the huge upsells, is built on integrity, aesthetics and the spirit of paying it forward (and teaches all members to do the same) will long outlast Empower Network, which is built on the shifting sands of greed and corruption of milking the poor of their resources. Don’t buy into the hype. Yes there are a few that make it in this scheme, but most of the poor have a pipe dream on their hands.

Thank you Dev, for the reply 🙂

      P.S. I invite you to compare…

Ohhh! you’re right! I got the two songs mixed up. I will fix that. Thanks for the correction LOL! Albeit, both would fit the scenario here. Yes. I know about the EN members doing what they sometimes do. I’m glad you very rarely, if ever find such vulgarity on WA except when it comes from brand new people on occasion. Kyle’s blog post on EN has quite a few idiots that have come on there and tried to speak their minds in such atrocious mannerisms.

Are you truthfully making money with EN? With the unprofessional potty mouth you display, (which is totally far from anyone I’d like to be around in business,) I’d be inclined to doubt it very much. Just one more display for folks to see and you yourself, sir, show the kind of mentality EN harbours. Sad that sensible folks fall for this deception as well…

Wealthy Affiliate is family friendly and language like you’ve used would result in immediate deletion of your account – something that can’t be said of Empower Network. 🙁

WA offers FAR more value in a friendly environment to folks who want to go into online business on THEIR terms, not settling for EN-controlled and owned cookie-cutter blogs, that don’t convert well, with EN advertisements plastered all over them, of which “users” (not owners) can’t remove … and certainly minus the up-sells and lies found at EN.

So, who’s jealous here? For one who resorts to the type of language you’ve used, one reading it has to wonder…

If you’re going to use such language, please make sure you use correct grammar. The verb you used is in the wrong tense. It should be “speak,” not “spoke.” That too, is unprofessional, and it shows – not to mention what it does to the conversion rate on your “blog” when folks read it.

Who’s the one working for the system? At least I don’t get *shamed* for not investing in the rubbish you are compelled to through such social conventions there.

Have a great New Year and hope you will see the light in 2014. 🙂

I wouldn’t say that everyone in there is an idiot. Not educated in this matter of ethical programs and not getting caught up in scams, yes. I wager that most people in EN were new to this business. It so happens EN does draw in idiots too. I’ve seen it all over the place with some of them openly shaming others who quit, won’t go “all in” or have gripes against EN. A few people can see traps when they approach them, but people who are inexperienced with minefields will get blown to bits. I’m not going to pin that on any one person. I would certainly say this person acted like a spoiled brat and tried to use playground politics on me. It didn’t work.

EN knows where people are vulnerable and what buttons to push. They know how most people are wired so they leverage on these. I review a lot of programs and many times, I don’t have to go further than the sales page or video before I smell a rat. EN once held a bit of curiosity in me but I didn’t go very far at all before I could see it for what it is. Further study and research definitely collaborated with what I could see – and during the time I did the research, it only got worse – much worse!

EN doesn’t care about who comes in, as long as it is thickly settled. What Mike said was not prudent and was NOT the way to handle something he doesn’t agree in. But I do know what you are saying. It’s not very smart to do that in public. But, it happens all the time. It’s what is shamefully called declaring war.

It would cause some to retaliate.
It would cause others to simply delete it.
I posted it. Hopefully he thinks twice before doing that elsewhere.

      Hey Larry.

Folks, my brother here. The art of debating is not easy at all. It takes being fair, diplomatic and unbiased. I don’t really think he was angry, he might have been, as his use of the emoticons are engimatic, being smilies and winks. Perhaps he didn’t know how to use these, but probably isn’t the case. You, my brother, don’t need to call my sir, but stand up for who you are, for I’m not ashamed. 🙂

I think this person saw what I wrote as an opportunity to attack, though I have a feeling he doesn’t even know why himself.

Hope your first day in 2014 is a good one. Rainy and gloomy here.

Hey Mike, I’m unsure what system you’re talking about. Internet Marketing isn’t comprised of a “system”. It’s comprised of selling products to people. Both me and Daniel have started I.M. before Empower Network was created, and both of us can testify to much of the unethical doings of many of the (top) E.N. members. If you don’t have anything nice to say either, don’t say anything at all, because what you said was definitely not nice.

To Daniel: Keep up the good work. 🙂

      Hey Seth,

I hope you are doing okay in the entering of a new year. I think the system he’s talking about IS EN. Why it is so successful is because it seriously takes advantage of human nature, human weakness, if you will (i.e. shaming folks into going all in.) Hey, someone just told me that when they were a member, it was often said that “if you don’t go all in, you don’t love your family.” I’m going to look into that and if I find it to be true, will be adding that to my reviews on it.

I’m glad Mike said what he said. It was an opportunity to show folks what’s in EN. Of course, this doesn’t represent the many hard-working and ethical-minded folks that are caught up in this thing. Hence, the likes of folks that bash others when they can’t defend the cause, is pretty small indeed. I know there would be others on there that would have responded to this post in a more civilized, diplomatic way and debated in a more humane way. This was no debate at all. It was a personal slam on the author, knocking his character, and all that amounts to is that he has shown the world that he is the one with the issues.

        Hey Daniel, doing great. 🙂

I rejoined WA on a freebie account. Idk if you saw or not, but I followed you. K&C were pretty quick to follow me back, so they know I’m on it. I plan on submitting a few training guides, following only people who are serious about I.M. (have been doing it for a while), & private message people when I go premium. The chat box on the other hand, I’m probably not going to get on it. Lol. I checkout what people are talking about now and then though.

Take care & good luck with your website.

I’m thinking very seriously of stop posting on WA and put more of my efforts into this campaign. There’s a LOT of postings on there that would have been much better to have been on this site instead, but it is what it is. This campaign really needs it. I learned to be very careful what I write. That is true everywhere, not just WA, but I learned a LOT from WA from my inexperience and errors.

Daniel having been with EN for a couple of months, I decided their system was not for me. I can’t see how poor people can pay for EN. It can cost easily more than $150/month. And that is every month. Unfortunately, some members also lack courtesy.

Yeah, they sure do, which tells me they are looking for quantity – getting as many people into that scheme as possible so they can make bigger and bigger killings, and they certainly don’t care about the quality of their membership and those in it. It’s really horrible.

WA’s monthly subscription is $47 and you get SOOOO much more! The yearly rate figures to $29/month (which is paid in one lump sum of $359, but you can’t beat that whatsoever!

Yep. Been there, done that! (Then, I cancelled my credit card just to be sure they were gone for good.)

They put on a great show, appealing to greed, dominance -and unfortunately enough for myself- ignorance. It’s pretty obvious what kind of demonic types that their form of ‘industry’ relies upon.

Anyway, I too applaud Wealthy Affiliates for their earnestness, and RATIONAL, HONEST, and ROBUST learning system. I’m only a month-or-so-long Premium Member, and I am totally pumped for what lies shortly ahead, and have a solid foundation under me that I had lacked for many years. Heck, I’ve learned so much already that I could frankly quit. But it’s pretty nice to rub elbows with people who actually give a damn about my future.

For one price, I control my destiny. So I am ALL IN! lol

It is a really wonderful thing in our time to have a membership like WA. It’s something we can actually go “all in” for – because it’s all there without the up-sells and extra cost that comes with getting what is needed to market with. However, most pathetic, even given everything for the going out at EN, it doesn’t even come close, nay, the value you get at EN doesn’t even show on the scale when measured up to WA.

I know there is worse out there on the Internet to get involved with, but when it comes to Internet business, as opposed to everything found, it, in my opinion, IS the worst.

Just to think, I almost got tangled up in it. Grateful now that I didn’t have to go very far into the sales page to know this was junk.

When you Conservatively take into account the costs, Using their Own Corporate income disclaimer figures, 85-95% of their members operate their EN business at a loss 🙁 🙁 When the ‘leaders’ of this supposedly “no excuses” business are questioned on this Fact, they come up with a Multitude of Excuses Mostly blaming their own members and None Acknowledging the Flakiness of the company’s products 🙁 🙁 I know of No ‘World Class’ business that blames their Own market, Arrogantly believing their products/services are Perfect, for their Appalling Overall performance 🙁 🙁

      Hey Andrew 🙂

It’s amazing how humanity works sometimes, how large masses of folks like this can be so manipulated and imbued with something detrimental to them, as to make it their own and love it. This is a sad scenario, and is why many of us who can see through Empower Network, even at its outer edges, do what we can to dissuade folks from getting onto conveyors that lead to the slaughter house.

So, those figures (85-95%) actually come from their own corporate income disclaimer? Wow! It only shows the powerful effect of what happens when you post massive disclaimers written in legal terminology and language, does to folks – how such information can be posted so it is legally satisfied, though very few will read them! This is something myself, I’m going to look into. It’s a pretty damning piece of info here!

Yes, I’m inclined to believe somewhat that, outside of the flakiness of the products themselves, it IS the members who are at least, partially at fault. They do not read the “fine print.”

I want to thank you for this information. It will be very useful to me and I will be looking into this with my own eyes. I am not an EN member, nor have I ever, but when I create reviews, I try to get down into areas where most members of such an outfit never go. Many times, I can only go on the reports of others who have been inside these places, and even that, due justice must be made for the company and the members, by seeing these things for myself. A previous poster here has helped me gain insightful information by directing me to an official document which is readily found on the Internet.

You have a great day! Further discussion is surely welcomed!

      Thanks for posting.

Once again, I want to thank you for this info! It is pretty compelling as it is appalling! If I’m on the same page as you, I’ve found an official chart on a corporate Empower Network page, under which there is a large green button which says, “Continue to sign-up page.” The numbers are very revealing even though this is updated regularly. I suspect the numbers do change, but this change stays pretty much in range of what it shows now. So it appears that this page pops up during the sign-up process, if I am assuming correctly. By the time the prospect has reached this page, he/she has already been through the sanitizer, if I may use such a brazen term.

Due to the fact that those in the 85-95% receive such low compensation for their efforts, they wouldn’t even HAVE to go “All In” (not purchasing into all of the products) to get burned by this!

Another thing they don’t tell you is that those that DO sit pretty on Empower Network already have HUGE email lists to promote to – something that most people simply do not have, if ANY email list at all! In other words, those that do make it in this business already have massive followers.

An example of this is Sam Crowley, an author whom I once had great respect for, and even still, listen to and read his content which, outside of the Empower Network stuff, is awesome.

Thanks again! More information to work with here!
