IMPho.com’s Newest Developments — INTRODUCING BLOGS

IMPHO.COM, This is an online business community that teaches how to market on the Internet using affiliate/associate marketing, PLR/MLR marketing and others.

IMPho appears to follow a similar criteria that you would find in the very best platforms of this sort. As a member myself, I see this membership as having great potential. This program is legit.

The Good & the Bad

The Good:

  • Has an active membership and member interaction is encouraged.
  • Has one-on-one support systems.
  • Has incentives and an affiliate program with 50% commission.
  • Membership appears to be friendly and helpful to each other.
  • Interaction with the owner of the site.
  • Honesty and Integrity seems to be the spirit of the community.
  • Has an updated training suite.
  • Has a forum and blogging area.
  • Has a very affordable price tag.
  • Has a starter membership and initial discount beginning the Premium Membership.
  • Monthly raffle tickets wins one lucky member free Premium access for life!

The Bad:

  • I would like to see more tools in the Members’ Area.
  • New members can easily get overwhelmed by the volume of information.
  • I would like to see a little more member interaction.

Who is IMPho.com For?

This membership is for anyone aspiring to become an Internet marketer and run an online business. There’s also more advanced training for seasoned marketers as well. Here you will find the basic information you need to successfully run such a business. It will suffice for folks who wish to market on the Internet for a variety of different models, such as affiliate marketing, email marketing and more.

IMPho.com Tools & Training

toolboxLet’s start with the Starter Membership highlights. Then we will look at the Premium offerings. Note that anything found in the Starter package is included in the Premium.

Starter Training
Unlimited access to all free training, including The 20-Week Training Course. The free training does have valuable information in it but most of this can be found in other places. The great thing about this however, is that it’s all in one place here and is clean. The Starter Training provides basics plus it showcases what is found in the Premium.

The 20-Week Training Course is fairly similar to other programs considered top quality. All of the courses provide a good basis to get started with. The 20-Week Training Course appears to be the only one available to Starter Members. though it is enough to give folks an idea what’s inside the Premium and it provides a basis for prospective members to give the program a try.

Internet Marketing Tools
IMPho.com has a handful of tools that are available to the Starter Member. These are listed below:

  • Instant On-Page SEO Review
  • Backlink Search Engine
  • Anchor Text/Link Variation
  • Keyword List Multiplier
  • Best Page Determinator
  • RSS Feed Editor
  • Bulk URL Response Checker

Community Forum
Similar to WA’s older Forum but on a much smaller scale, this Forum provides a place for new members to come in and introduce themselves, an all-business-based board to discuss Internet marketing and related topics, an “everything else” board, and a number of others.

Personal Blog
This debuted just this month (May 2013 as of this writing) and is slowly integrating with the membership as more members are using it. At the time of this writing, there are only a handful of posts on it and doesn’t appear to be very popular. This could be that a blog requires moderator screening prior to being published. It does show potential.

Build Your Network!
The members’ area features a “FaceBook” type interface, allowing members to build networks (friends) in their dashboards.

Affiliate Program
Promote IMHho.com and you will receive 50% commissions on all approved sales. This is an excellent model of an affiliate program.

Premium Membership

I find the tools area a bit short, though the selection features tools not found anywhere else. However, the training area is quite extensive and I’m yet to update this massive section. I am currently exploring this area and in fact, using it to build a campaign to see just how good it is.

Further work here pending. *Review will go here*

IMPho.com Support

support-large-273x300There are two ways to get support on IMPho.com. The foremost is a “help desk.” I personally am not fond of this type of support system as, in my own experience with this, answers can be quite delayed and not so articulate as it could be. The help desk support on this site is limited to customer support tickets being answered only during business hours, that is, Monday through Friday, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm EST. However, support can be had at all hours via a second venue…

Support is encouraged from the membership itself. This, in my opinion, is the way to go, and if I owned this membership site, I’d do away with the help desk (or simply have it on the sales page only as a “contact” link.

However, you can get member support within the site’s built-in Forum and now, the Blog system. Note however, that all blogs are screened before being published. Therefore, a delay can ensue here and the best place that I can see to get member support is on the Forum. Replies are instant and not subject to moderator-approval before being published.

IMPho.com Price

This program has a Starter Membership which includes all free training and community Forum, amongst other things. This membership is free. Communications and “write privileges” come with the Starter Membership without limitations that I’m aware of.

An incentive is offered to join the Premium Membership. For one week as a Premium, you get to try the services and training within for one buck ($1.) Once the week has expired, you will automatically be charged $37/month for subscription fees. You are free to cancel the membership at any time before the billing cycle kicks in. This is always honoured without question. There is a monthly drawing that could give you free Premium Membership for life!

My Final Opinion of IMPho.com

My assessment of this membership community is very good. It has most everything that you would find on the best online marketing training communities..

IMPho.com has a modest-sized membership and growing so if you prefer a smaller membership environment, this program is for you. As is common to most memberships, there is a large sector of this membership that is inactive.

At the time of this writing, I am currently exploring the Premium Membership itself. As I work through the training areas and learn how to use the tools offered, I will be adding these.

VERDICT:

Final Thoughts

I rate IMPho.com as one of the best programs out there. It is what I would call my second-pick. It is set up fairly similar to Wealthy Affiliate. I am a member of both communities, and IMPho.com does approach training a bit differently, providing a different perspective, which I find very useful in my own work as an Internet marketer.

I personally recommend IMPho for those who desire to learn the ropes of online marketing, would like to network with folks of like-mindedness and want a straight-way, no-frills approach to learning the exciting field of online marketing and the building/maintenance of an online business.

I will reiterate that IMPho is a great program and there is nothing scammy about it.

Of the hundreds of training programs out there, IMPho is one of the very few that make it in my book, of a highly-effective, friendly, well-equipped training facility. When I first came in contact with IMPho, I was somewhat skeptical, but now that I’ve been inside and having been looking around, I find it ethical and legitimate. I would not be a member of any such program if it wasn’t worth its salt, and this program qualifies as one of my top picks. I find it to be in the top 1% of all online business training available on the Internet as of this writing.

Hey Daniell, this is a really nice writeup on IMPho. I took a look at it last was, and was also surprised that it was a fairly active community.

I haven’t spend any time on there (just enough to do a short review of it). What do you think of the quality of support given? I was going through the posts and felt that there was basically one or two active members that took care of most people, but I could be wrong.

Also, what do you think most people focus on with regards to internet marketing? I mean, some communities may focus on niche marketing, while others may focus on ‘building a list’. What’s the general vibe with regards to projects people are involved in and things they are discussing?

From all the places I’ve visited, this one definitely comes in at number two in my book. I have been into the training, and though not as comprehensive, as Wealthy Affiliate, I would say my experience with the training on there is “very good” and for the size of the site, I would even say it is excellent. It is very similar to WA in many ways, just a much smaller group. It has some unique tools on there that WA doesn’t have.

From my recent experience with this company, they start you off with email marketing. I’m going to build a campaign using the training on there to see how it comes out. I know WA has email marketing training too, I just want to see how this is. Not quite sure the trends yet. I’m slowly getting around in there and everything has come to a near stand-still due to the hard laborious work I’ve been doing. When this gets over I will be pushing back into things like I need to be.

Thanks for your offer, but I’m writing all the articles myself as I have specific writing goals for this site for which I alone can achieve. Also, to be linking to a locksmith (cerrajeros) website might not be the best thing for continuity of my objectives and how I stand in the search engines.

      Again, thanks for offering 🙂
